Roman Dębiński


Roman Dębiński (born May 21, 1956 in Opole Lubelskie) - former football player, currently a coach. As a football player he played 130 matches in the league, where he scored 10 goals, 160 matches and 20 goals in the second division. In the position of coach he was promoted to the 3rd league with Lewart Lubartów. He also coached the first-time Siark Tarnobrzeg and second-division Motor Lublin periodically also P.o. the president of the second club. In 1980 he was recognized as the second athlete of the Lublin region.

Detained in connection with the investigation into corruption in football for his time in Lublin (in connection with the "setting up" of Korona Kielce), pleaded guilty and voluntarily surrendered. In 2009 sentenced by the District Court in Kielce for 1.5 years in prison suspended for 3 years, fines, forfeiture 7 thousand. accepted bribes and a two-year ban on football. In December 2009 he was accused again - this time about setting up matches of Motor Lublin.
