Jnan Hansdev Adhin (born 1927, died 2002) - a Surinam writer and politician of Hindu origin who created in Surinam Hindustani and in Dutch. Recognized as one of the most important writers writing in sarnami.

In 1953, he developed a Hindi-Dutch dictionary, and in 1964 a textbook of Surinam Hindustani. He was involved in essay writing, drama, journalism as well as translations of Hindu literature.
