Five rice measures 190-215
Five measures of rice - a peasant uprising in China in the years 190-215 under the leadership of Zhang Lu.
After the suppression of the peasant uprising called the creation of the yellow turban, another battles broke out in central China, where a group of Taoism believers was established. Its founder was Zhang Ling, grandfather of the leader of the uprising. In 190 Zhang Lu, being his grandson, formed his own army and built a theocratic state in the Sichuan province. In this state, private property was abolished, and the grain was divided between residents. Works, for example when repairing roads, were treated as penance for sins. In order to eliminate the state led by Zhang Lu, the Chinese emperors sent a military commanded by General Cao Cao. The fights, with varying intensity, lasted for 25 years and led to the victory of the imperial army. Zhang Lu did not suffer punishment after being served, and after forgiveness he received numerous land assignments and a high official title.
The name of the origins comes from the fact that grandfather Chiang Lu receives from his patients five years of rice per treatment. Bibliography
