Adolf Kunkel

Adolf Kunkel (born February 24, 1886 in Lübeck, Germany) is a German librarian, art historian and philologist. Twice the director of the Raczynski Library in Poznan. Graduate of the University of Göttingen (German studies and art history). On his arrival in Poznan he taught at Berger Junior High School. He also arranged a library book at the time of the German Historical Society. He twice served as director of the Raczynski Library: in 1916, and then in 1918-1919. The break was due to work in the Lübeck municipal library.
