Walgreen Coast - part of the coast of Maria Byrd, between Ellsworth's Eight Coast and the Bakutis Coast.
The borders of this coastline are: Cape Herlacher to the west and Cape Waite to the east of the Kinga Peninsula. It was discovered by Richard Byrd and members of the U.S. Antarctic Service during the reconnaissance flights with the USS Bear in February 1940. The coast was further explored by workers of the United States Geological Survey in 1959-66. The name commemorates Charles Walgreen, businessman and founder of the Walgreens pharmacy chain, who supported Byrd's expedition.
