Order of Nderi and Kombit (Urdhri "Nderi and Kombit", Order of Honor of the Nation) - National decoration of the Republic of Albania established in 1996 by the parliament of Albania. Third in terms of rank of Albania.

History

The Order of Nderi and Kombit was established on March 28, 1996 by the parliament of Albania, by virtue of Decree 8113. The rules of awarding the order were corrected in 2013 by Act 112/2013, p.

The Order of Nderi and Kombat is granted to Albanian citizens who, through their person and activity, deserve the good of the Albanian nation both in and outside Albania. The order was also awarded to cities that have been particularly deserving of the history of Albania. The honor is given by the President of Albania. Description of the order

Order is made of gold. On the obverse there is a flag of Albania with an emblem, surrounded by an olive branch and inscribed with URDHRI NDERI and KOMBIT. Bibliography

Myrmex Indikos, pol. Indian ant - an alleged species of gigantic ants (according to Herodot's description, larger than foxes, but smaller than dogs). The earliest mention of these creatures is dated to the fifth century BC, and its author is Herodotus. According to her, these ants inhabited the deserts of Persia and India and extracted gold from their sands. Several such creatures were kept in the residence of the King of Persia.
