lyricorum petition

Lyricorum libellus - a collection of poetry works by Jan Kochanowski in Latin, published in 1580 in Cracow.

The works contained in the volume were created over many years, but rather later in the works (eg Ad Henricum Valesium ..., In conventu Stesicensi, De expugnatione Polottei). Poems prepared for the author himself. In the posthumous reissues of the volume of publishers, other works of Kochanowski were added to it (among others in the 1612 edition of Gallo crocitanti A'MOIBE ', maliciously referring to the escape of Henryk Waleze from Poland).
