Johnny Suede - the first film by director Tom DiCillo, which premiered in 1991. This is also one of the first films in which Brad Pitt played the leading role, the title Johnny Suede.

The film tells the story of a young man who is a dreamer and sensitive, in his inspirations referring to earlier decades, and therefore believes that current fashion and music are not romantic enough to be worth anything. She tries her best in music and tries to find a woman who understands him. During his short history he meets, among other things, the character of well known music played by Nick Cave. Samuel L. Jackson also appeared briefly in the film as a member of Johnny Suede.

The image has a lot of symbols and in it, among which a significant role is played by suede shoes, the subject of the greatest fascination of the title character. Bibliography :
