Ivan Klánský
Ivan Klánský (born 13 May 1948 in Prague) is a Czech pianist. Curriculum vitae
Ivan Klánský studied at the Prague Conservatory at Valentina Kameníkovéj and at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague with František Rauch. 2nd prize (1st prize not awarded) at the International Piano Competition. Ferruccio Busoni in Bolzano in 1967. In 1968 he won 2nd prize at the 3rd Bach International Bach Competition in Leipzig. He was also the finalist of the VIII International Piano Competition. Fryderyk Chopin in Warsaw in 1970. <
Ivan Klánský has performed at the most prestigious stages in the world. He has recorded many albums, including all piano pieces by Bedřich Smetana. Member of the Guarneri Trio Prague and professor at the universities of Prague and Lucerne.
He also participated in the works of the jury during the International Piano Competition. Fryderyk Chopin in Warsaw in 1990 and 1995.
