Two-time finalist of the individual world junior championships (Lonigo 1978 - XI place, Leningrad 1979 - 16th place). Bronze medalist of individual Italian youth championships (1978). Three-time finalist of individual Italian championships (1979 - 6th place, 1980 - 5th place, 1981 - 7th place). Italian Team Champion (1981).
