Alliance of European National Movements

The Alliance of European National Movements (AENM) is a European political party based on the eurosceptic, nationalist and extreme right. The headquarters of the organization is in Matzenheim.

The group was formed in 2009. the French National Front, the Hungarian Jobbik, the British National Party, the Belgian National Front, the Swedish National Democrats, the Portuguese National Party of Rebirth. In 2012, the party has become a europée recognized by the European Union, which involves receiving grants for financing activities.

The president of the alliance until 2013 was Bruno Gollnisch, who - along with the founder of the National Front Jean-Marie Le Pen - belonged to the main AENM activists. New leader of FN, Marine Le Pen, has made efforts to improve the image of the group. The consequence was its involvement in the new European formation under the name of the European Alliance for Freedom and its withdrawal from the extremist groupings (BNP, Jobbik). At her request in 2013, Bruno Gollnisch and Jean-Marie Le Pen resigned from the AENM.
