The Epic of Hades

The Epic of Hades - poem by the nineteenth-century British (Welsh) poet Lewis Morris (1833-1907), published in 1877. The work was an attempt to recount Ancient Greek myths in a way that suits contemporary readers. The poem consists of three books titled Tartarus (Tartar), Hades (Hades) and Olympus (Olimp). He was given a dedication: It's Richard Monckton Milnes, Lord Houghton, this poem is dedicated by the Author. It is written in a white line. Its protagonists and heroes are figures from Greek mythology, including Tantal, Syzyf, Andromeda and Herakles. Bibliography
