Piotr Uklański Piotr Uklański (born 1968 in Warsaw) - Polish artist, director and photographer, living in the USA.

He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, and in 1991 went to the USA. He directed, among others. Music videos and photography. He has had many solo exhibitions. in Sandomierz (Single Duel, 1993), Lublin (The Life It Should Be, 1995), New York (More Joy of Photography, 1997). In Poland, the Nazis exhibited in Warsaw in November 2000 (previously presented in London), presenting actors in the roles of German officers of the Second World War; The exhibition was demonstrably destroyed by Daniel Olbrychski, who was also among the portrayed actors (on the photos of One and Claude Lelouch's films). In 2006 Uklański sold the Nazis at an auction in London for 568 thousand. lbs.

From other well known works of Uklański we can mention Dance Floor (1996) - moving the floor from the nightclub; mosaic of ceramic waste in front of "Smyk" Commodity House in Warsaw (1999); Joy of Photography series, presenting the beauty of nature (since 1997). As a feature film director, he made his debut with Western Summer Love starring Bogusław Linda, Katarzyna Figura and Val Kilmer (2005), shown at the 31st Polish Feature Film Festival in Gdynia. In addition to directing, Uklański also wrote the script and produced the film.

He is married to Alison Gingeras, the curator of art, with whom he has two children, Maria and Lucjan.
