Bay sp. z o.o. limited liability company - a company with its registered office in Gdansk, which manages until 2012 a network of shops (mostly residential and self-service) of food and industry "Zatoka", operating in the Tri-City area.

The network was established in 1993 and employs around 450 employees. The average area of ​​one store was 360 square meters. In 2011, Jeronimo Martins Distribution, the owner of the Biedronka chain, purchased 12 of the 30 Gulf locations in Gdańsk and Gdynia.

In 2012 the company purchased the District Dairy Cooperative in Starogard Gdański for the price of two million zlotys. In the same year, all the other stores have evolved and now operate under the name Freshmarket.
