Tadeusz Szumiata


Tadeusz Szumiata (born 2 May 1970 in Oświęcim) - Polish physicist, habilitated doctor, associate professor at the University of Technology and Humanities. Kazimierz Pulaski in Radom.

In 1989 he graduated from the Secondary School. Jan Kochanowski in Radom, and in 1994 graduated from the Faculty of Physics at the University of Warsaw. On May 9, 2002, he obtained a doctoral degree in physical sciences, defending his dissertation. Surface magnetization in nanocrystalline and thin layers in the Institute of Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw. At the beginning of June of the same year he was employed as an adjunct professor at the Department of Physics of the Radosław Technical University. Casimir Pulaski. In 2005 he held a post-graduate postgraduate course at the Faculty of Materials Engineering at the University of Sheffield. He has cooperated with several foreign university departments. On July 15th, 2011, he obtained his PhD in Physical Sciences at the University of Pavl Josef Šafářek in Košice, on the basis of his dissertation. Selected size effects in magnetic nanocrystalline systems and thin layers. On December 1st of the same year he became an associate professor at the Radom Polytechnic (since 2012 functioning as Kazimierz Pulaski University of Technology and Humanities in Radom).

He is the author of thirty publications in scientific journals. He is involved in the popularization of physics among the youth, as well as the organization of classical music festivals. He also works for the disabled, and also serves on the board of the American football team Green Ducks Radom.

In 2014 he belonged to Poland Jarosław Gowin and was the candidate for the European Parliament elections, after which he left the party.
