Louis Guttman
Louis Guttman (born 1916, died 1987) - Israeli statistics, sociologist and psychologist, creator of the widely used in the social sciences of the Guttman scale. He was one of the pioneers of factor analysis.
Louis (also known as Eliyahu) Guttman was born and died in the United States, but he worked academically and was strongly associated with the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Due to his significant contribution to the development of social sciences, he is considered one of the greatest social researchers of the 20th century. Bibliography
