He belonged to the Order of Friars Minor Observants. He was born into a family of affluent farmers in Stroncone, Umbria. Parents were Franciscan tertiary. As a child he often visited the uncle of a monk who was staying in a nearby Franciscan convent. At twelve, Antoni asked for a Franciscan habit. Due to poor health, the Franciscans wanted to send him home, which their parents wished for, the future of their own farm. Some time later, Antoni was sent to the monastery in Fiesole. Together with his tutor, brother Tommaso Bellaccim, he was sent to Corsica for seven years. He spent several decades in the Franciscan Eucharist in Carceri near Assisi. The Blessed died on February 7, 1461 in the convent of San Damiano near Assisi. Pope Pius VII confirmed the cult, allowing the body to be transferred to the Stroncone.
