Agata Stępień


Agata Stępień, from d. Regulska, secundo voto Mielniczuk (born 14 May 1967 in Warsaw) is a Polish veteran, medalist of the European Championship, individual champion of Poland (1991).

She was a competitor of Marymont Warsaw (1975-1989), where she trained for the floret, and AZS-AWF Warsaw (1989-1994), where she performed in the sword. Her biggest success in the career was the bronze medal of the European Championships in 1991 in a team tournament (together with Anna Rotkiewicz, Iwona Oleszyńska and Anita Iwanska). In 1985 she became the Polish vice-champion in the flotation, twice as a team mate of Poland (1992, 1993), and in 1994 she won the bronze medal of the MP in the team tournament. Bibliography
