Károly Radóczy


Károly Radóczy (born August 31, 1885 in Budapest) is a Hungarian athlete competing in the Hungarian colors, specializing in sprinting and cross-country running.

Radóczy represented the Kingdom of Hungary at the Olympic Games twice. It was the first time this had happened in London during the 4th Summer Olympics. He started there on the run for 200 meters. In the elimination phase, he won his run with a walkover, as his rivals did not appear at the start. In the semi-finals he ran in the first gear, which with the time 22.8 seconds finished in third place, and he fell out of further competition. Four years later, during the V Summer Olympics in Stockholm in 1912, he started four times longer. In the 800 meters race, Radóczy took part in the ninth runner-up, which he did not finish.

He represented the colors of the Budapest club MTK. Life records Bibliography
