Jan Sukiennik


Jan Sukiennik (born in 1980 in Warsaw) - Polish architect. Curriculum vitae

A graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at Warsaw University of Technology (2006). He also studied at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and at the ETSAM university in Madrid. The first student practice took place in the studio of Bulanda Mucha Architects. He gained further professional experience in the following companies: Pagnamenta Torriani Architects (New York) and Inglada-Arevalo Arquitectos (Madrid).

In 2007, he set up a 307kilo studio with Zofia Strumiłło-Sukiennik. Co-winner of the Architectural Award of the Polityka and nominated for the European Union Prize in the competition of contemporary architecture. Mies van der Rohe for the project of the Służew Culture Center. Co-author of, among others permanent exhibition of the Museum of Warsaw Praga (together with Charlie Koolhaas), arrangement of the Łódź Design Festival, Culture Club in Saska Kępa, exhibition "Warsaw under Construction 5".

Vice President of Development in the Management Board of OW SARP in 2012-2015 and judge of the SARP competition in the term 2015-2019.
