In 1992 he was in the first group of Albanians who went to study in Turkey. Bruce studied English philology at the Institute of Foreign Languages ​​at the Bosphorus University in Istanbul, followed by psychology at the Faculty of Social Sciences. On his return home he worked with the University of Epoch, and then lectured at the Bedër University in Tirana, where he held the post of Deputy Dean of the Humanities.

In 1996 he was ordained as a clergyman in Istanbul. In December 2013 he became Vice-President of the Muslim Community of Albania (Komuniteti Mysliman and Shqipërisë). In 2014, after the resignation, Selima Muça became the new grand mufti of Albania.
