Sidney Corbett (born 1960 in Chicago) - American composer.

He studied philosophy and music at the following universities: University of California in Los Angeles, Yale University and Hamburg Academy of the Arts (with György Ligeti). He creates orchestral, chamber and also stage works. His works were commissioned by such institutions and bands as Westdeutscher Rundfunk, Berliner Philharmoniker or Radio-Sinfonieorchester Stuttgart. He is a professor of composition at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstelle Kunst in Mannheim.
