Mehadeyis

Mehadeyis (in MHDYS writing) (around 360) - ruler of the African state of Aksum. Known primarily for the coins minted by him.

On the coins he emits, subtitles in the language of gyzy appear again. Researcher Stuart Munro-Hay assumes that the inscription on brown coins: bzmsql tmw (Polish: "you will conquer under this cross") is a loose translation of the legendary sentence: In hoc signo vinces (Latin "under this sign you will win"), which appears on coins of the emperor Constantine the Great.
