Konrad Weichert

Konrad Weichert (born March 20, 1934, died on March 8, 2003) - a German sports sailor. Two-time Olympic medalist.

He represented the colors of the German Democratic Republic. He took part in two Olympic Games (IO 68, IO 72), on both he won medals in the Dragon class, bronze in 1968 and silver in 1972. During both starts the skipper of the yacht was Paul Borowski, the third member of the crew Karl-Heinz Thun. They also won two gold medals of the European Championships in 1970 and 1972 and silver in 1969 and brown in 1968.

His brother Herbert was also a sailor and Olympian from Munich.
