Jean-Pierre Hémard


Jean-Pierre Hémard (born 4 July 1917, 2 July 1982) is a French racing driver. Career

In the race car Hémard took part mainly in the races included in the classification of the World Sports Car Championship. Between 1949 and 1957, the Frenchman appeared at the 24-hour Le Mans race. In the second season he was second in the S 750 (22nd overall). This success repeated a year later. In the 1952 season he won the S 750 class and was ranked in the 14th overall. In successive years S 750 won three times on the podium. He was third in 1955 and 1957 and second in 1954. Bibliography
