Ben Caplan
Ben Caplan (born in 1986 in Hamilton) - Canadian folk musician from Halifax. In addition to solo performances, he performs with his band under the name Ben Caplan & The Casual Smokers. His first studio album - In the Time of the Great Remebering - was released on October 20, 2011. The next album - Birds With Broken Wings - was released on September 18, 2015.

Preparations for the release of the first album (2009) and regular concerts began in 2006. In 2011, he toured Canada, he also gave several concerts in Europe.
From April to July 2013, Ben Caplan performed, among others, in in Australia, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Norway and the United Kingdom, where he performed at the prestigious Glastonbury Festival.
In 2015, he made his first US tour, giving a showcase of his skills, including during the South by Southwest festival.
In 2016, together with his band, he has three concerts planned in Poland - October 2 in Warsaw, October 21 in Poznan and October 22 in Wroclaw.
