Zbigniew Ludwik Ernst (born 1905, died 1975 in Guildford, Surrey, Great Britain) - Polish chemist, lecturer at the University of Surrey. Curriculum vitae
He studied at the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Poznań, in 1935 he obtained a master's degree in philosophy in the field of chemistry. At the same time, from 1934 he lectured, in 1938 he presented his doctoral thesis. During the Second World War he was arrested and imprisoned in Oflag VII A Murnau. After the war, he decided to emigrate to Great Britain. From 1948 he was assistant professor and head of the Chemical Engineering Department at Polish University College, from 1953 he was a lecturer and from 1958 a senior lecturer in physical chemistry at the Battersea College of Technology. In 1964 he became a lecturer in physical chemistry at the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Surrey.
The remaining achievements in the form of twelve scientific papers in the field of chemistry, which he co-signed with his colleagues on the pages of the Biuletynu Towarzystwa Przyjaciół Nauki in Poznań. He also published in the "Transactions of Faraday Society" and in German magazines.
