Władysław Pokrzepa


Władysław Kazimierz Pokrzepa (born 1948 in Mzurowej, died November 10, 2002 in Kielce) - Polish teacher, manager, self-government. Curriculum vitae

He graduated from the Kielce Technical School and studied at the Higher School of Social Sciences at the Central Committee of the Polish United Workers' Party. In the early 1980's, he started working in the Building School Complex in Kielce, becoming its director. Since 1985 he has been employed in the construction company Exbud, and in 1995 he became the director of the staff policy office. In 2000 he was elected a member of the Board of Gdańsk Road Works Enterprise. This function was canceled at the end of 2001.

From 1979 to 1982 he was deputy head of the Economic Department of the Provincial Committee of the PZPR. He belonged to the SLD. In 1998 he was elected councilor of the 1st term of the Sejmik of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodship. In the years 2001-2002 he was its chairman, previously a vice president. In 2002 he was re-elected from the SLD-UP list, receiving 4,612 votes (11.71%) in the district.

In 2002, he was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta for outstanding achievements in construction development.

He died on November 10, 2002 as a result of two weeks of extensive brain damage.
