Philippe Cavoret
Philippe Cavoret (born January 11, 1968 in Aix-les-Bains) is a French skeletonist, Olympian. Career
The biggest success of his career came on February 1, 2003 in Altenberg, where he won the World Cup. He passed the Austrian Walter Stern and the Japanese Kazuhiro Koshi. He twice stood on the podium of the competition: on 16 December 2000 in La Plagne was the second, and on 12 January 2006 in Königssee third place. The best result came in the 2000/2001 season when he finished seventh in the overall ranking.
In 2002, he competed at the Salt Lake City Olympic Games, finishing seventeenth. Four years later, the Turin Games were eighteen. He also took seventh place at the 2003 Nagano World Championships and the Calgary World Cup in 2005. Bibliography
