Martine de Schutter (born 14 March 1965, 17 July 2014) is a Dutch AIDS activist. came from Heijningen village in North Brabant. She was an anthropologist of culture. She started her career at the World Health Organization (WHO) in South America. She then worked for AIDS Action Europe, which has more than 400 AIDS organizations. She was the director of the Bridging the Gaps program.
She died in the plane crash of Malaysia Airlines 17 on 17 July 2014, flying as a delegate to the 20th International AIDS Conference in Melbourne, Australia.
