Daniel Buda
Daniel Buda (born January 11, 1970 in Românaşi, Sălaj County) is a Romanian politician and lawyer, Member of the Chamber of Deputies, Member of the European Parliament for the VIII term between 2004-2012. Curriculum vitae
In 1994 he graduated from Zootechnics at the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Cluj-Napoca, and in 1996 he earned a degree in Babeş-Bolyai University in the same city. At this university he obtained a PhD in Philosophy in 2006. In the years 1994-1997 he worked in the city administration, from 1998 to 2007 he practiced as a lawyer, then he obtained the powers of a notary. At the same time, in 1998 he became a lecturer at Babeş-Bolyai University.
He joined the Democratic Party, later transformed into the Democratic Liberal Party. Since 2000 he has been the vice chairman of the party in the Cluj region, and in 2006 he headed the regional constituencies. Between 2004 and 2012 he served two terms of office for the Chamber of Deputies.
In 2014 Daniel Buda took part in the European elections, receiving the mandate of a deputy to the 8th parliamentary term. With his grouping, he joined the National Liberal Party.
