Gerard Linke (born July 8, 1910 in Krosno, died October 20, 1939 in Kostrzyn) - Polish teacher, harper of the Polish Scouting Association. Curriculum vitae
He was born in a teaching family. In 1930 he graduated from the teacher's seminar in Rogoźno. In 1930-1931 he worked as an apprentice, later in 1931-1932 as a contract teacher in Zimin and Nekielce. In 1933 he was transferred to the general school in Nekla, where he founded a male and female scouting team.
An active social activist, in 1937 he completed his course in Szamotuły. In August 1939 he made a marriage with Nekla's teacher Anna Zefirjan.
On October 18, he was arrested by the Gestapo. October 1939 was shot by the Germans in a public execution at the Market Square in Kostrzyn, under the first mass executions of the Tannenberg operation in Wielkopolska.
After World War II, his corpse was exhumed and deposited in a grave in Kostrzyn. commemoration
Since 1980, Gerard Linke has been a patron of the Nekiel Scout Troop, currently operating under the name of Zug Nekla.
