Erdal Barkay

Erdal Barkay (born 14 March 1928, 3 October 2005) is a Turkish athlete, Olympian.

Participant of the London Olympic Games (1948). In the run of 110 meters through the hurdles he fell in the elimination. The 4 × 100 meter relay team, Kemal Aksur, Erdal Barkay, Raşit Öztaş and Ruhi Sarıalp, also dropped out of the qualifying rounds (they were disqualified). Four years later, he again took part in the 110 meter hurdles elimination, also falling out.

In 1948 he ran in a 4 × 100 meter relay that broke the Turkish record.
