Men's triathlon competition - one of the competition held during the XXVII Summer Olympics. The competition was held on 17 September. 52 competitors from 27 countries participated in this competition.

The gold medal was won by Simon Whitfield representing Canada. In second place was Stephan Vuckovic and the bronze medal was won by Jan Êehuli from Czech Republic.
