Marian Kwarciński


Marian Kwarciński (born January 16, 1933 in Rojewo, Poland, July 10, 2015) is a Polish speedway jockey. Curriculum vitae

He started his professional career in 1950 when he first appeared in the colors of Cuiavia Inowroclaw under the Pomeranian Regional League. Then he was a member of the Leszno Union with whom he won the Polish Championship Team in 1952. After his appointment to the army, he broke his professional career for a few years to return to the circuit in the colors of the Start Gniezno with which he was associated as a competitor in 1957-1971. Kwarciński was also a member of the Polish national team, taking in 1963 the participation of the Gniezno tricase from the USSR and Czechoslovakia. In 1969 he placed second in the Lech Castle Tournament. At the end of his career he was a trainer in the Gniezno Strike. He died on July 10, 2015 and was buried in the cemetery. St. Lawrence Street.
