Zbigniew Podgórzec (born 1935, died 2002) is a journalist and translator, a specialist in Russian and Orthodox culture. Translated into Polish, among others. Mikołaj Gogol, Warlama Szałamowa, Lev Tolstoy, Sergie Bulgakov, Michał Zoszczenka as well as Anna Dostoevska's Memoirs. The author of a book about the dramatic history of Russian theater in the twentieth century Theatrical life of Moscow and the monograph of Wlodzimierz Wysocki Wysocki - life and creativity). He has edited Dostoevsky's works for the Puls Publishing House, improving texts and compiling comments. He is also the author of two books-talks with Jerzy Nowosielski Around the Icon and My Christ.
