Wlodzimierz Winawer

The son of Edward and Sophie from d. Perl. In 1926 he graduated from the Warsaw grammar school, and in 1930 studied law at the University of Warsaw. He was a lecturer at the law firm, and in 1932 he was a trainee in the law firm and also a manager of the Legal Department of the Port SA Insurance Company.

1940-1943 was in the USSR, where he worked. by the forest. In May 1943 he volunteered for the Polish Army and became deputy commander of the political and educational company 1 pp. T. Kosciuszko, shortly afterwards deputy quartermaster 1 DP (until 1944). 1944-1945 correspondent of the newspaper "Zwyciężymy", then for several months the sub-prosecutor and then the deputy prosecutor of the 1st Army WP. IX 1945 - IV 1947 Deputy Prosecutor of Military District Prosecutor No IV in Katowice / Wroclaw, later on until 29 II 1948 Head of Division III of the Supreme Military Prosecutor's Office (NPW), then to 15 August 1949 of Division I NPW. 1949-1950 Judge of the Department of the First Military Court (NSW), 1950-1953 deputy head, and 1953-1956 p.o. Head of the Legal Office of MON. 1956-1957 was a prosecutor of the General Prosecutor's Office, after his return to the army he became Deputy Chairman / Vice-President of NSW. 1962-1964 Chairman of the First Division of the Supreme Military Court, 1964-1967 Head of the Offices of the Offi- cial Chamber of the Supreme Soviet.

July 20, 1967 moved to a resting state.

He later served as legal advisor to the Chamber of Labor and Social Security and to the Directorate of State Archives.

The Knight's Cross of the Order of the Rebirth of Poland (17 December 1946).
