Stefan Heythausen (born May 27, 1981 in Breyell) is a German speed skater, bronze medalist of the World Cup. Career

Stefan Heythausen's biggest success came in 2008, when he teamed up with Marco Weber and Jörg Dallmann to win the bronze medal in the team's race at the Nagano World Cup. It was the only medal he won at an international event of that rank. The best result ever achieved was the Salt Lake City World Cup in 2009, where he was thirteenth in the 1500 m race. In 2006 he took part in the Olympic Games in Turin, where he finished 26th at a distance of 1500 m the team was seventh. He has never been on the podium of individual World Cup competitions, but has done twice in the team. The best results achieved in the 2006/2007 and 2007/2008 seasons, when he finished seventh in the 1500 m ranking. In 2009 he finished his career. Bibliography
