Muhammad ibn Najif

Muhammad ibn Najif ibn Abd al-Aziz Al Su'ud (born June 30, 1959 in Jeddah) is a Saudi prince.

He is the son of Najib ibn Abd al-Aziz Al Su'ud and the grandson of the first king of Saudi Arabia, Abd al-Aziz ibn Su'ud. The mother of Prince Muhammad is Najib's second wife, Al-Jahhara bint Abd al-Aziz ibn Musa'id ibn Jalawi.

Between 1999 and 2012 he served as Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs for Security. From 2012 to 2017 he served as the Minister of the Interior. From January 23, 2015 to April 29, 2015, he was Vice-President of the Crown and Deputy Prime Minister, and then from April 29, 2015 to June 21, 2017 as the successor to the throne and first deputy prime minister.
