Diatrichalus tigoplanus


Diatrichalus tigoplanus - a species of beetle from the hawkish family and subfamily Lycinae.

This species was described in 2000 by Ladislav Bocák.

Beetle with a body length of 7.6 to 8.3 mm. Black to dark brown with yellow: the tip, disc and front 2/3 to 6/7 covers and at least partially brownish trochanter. The distance between the eyes is equal to 1.25 of their diameter and the length of the covers is 3.1 of their width.

Oriental species, endemic to the Philippine island of Palawan.
