He was a member of the Progressive Party. In the parliamentary elections of 1961, he first got into the Israeli parliament from the list of the Liberal Party. In the 1965 election, he was reelected from the Gahal list, ie the joint list of Liberals and Herutu. In 1969 he lost his place in the Knesset.

He was active in the association of Greek Jews. He died on February 20, 1977.
