Thespoides bolivari


Thespoides bolivari is a species of mantis from the mantis and subfamily Angelinae. The only species of the monotype type Thespoides.

The genre and genre were described in 1919 by Lucien Chopard. Chopard included them in the subfamily Miopteryginae, and they were also classified in the Schizocephalinae by Angelinae.

In the Angelinae subfamily, this species is distinguished by the second disk of the forearms of the forelegs shorter than the first. Anal abdomen is rounded and uneven.
