Milan Linzer
Milan Linzer (born November 8, 1937 in Oberpullendorf) is an Austrian politician, lawyer and economic activist, member of the Federal Council, Member of the European Parliament for the fourth term. Curriculum vitae
In 1961 he completed his law studies at the University of Vienna. Since 1963 he has been professionally associated with the notary, and in 1976 he obtained the full rights of a notary, taking up his apprenticeship in Oberwart. He also became involved in political activities within the Austrian People's Party. Longtime activist associated with this grouping of business organizations Österreichischer Wirtschaftsbund, since 1982 chairman ÖWB in Oberwartz, and since 1987 in Oberwart district. In 1985 he was vice-president of the organization in Burgenland.
From 1987 to 2000 he sat in the Austrian Bundesrat, in 1999 he was Vice-President of the Federal Council. In the years 1995-1996 he held the mandate of the MEP in the national delegation.
