Marián Jirout (born July 27, 1976 in Pardubice) is a Czech dredger.

Gold medalist of the Czech individual youth championship (1994). Two-time bronze medalist of individual Czech championships (2000, 2001). Double silver medalist of the Czech team championship (2005, 2007). Gold medalist of the UK Championship team (1999).

Four-time finalist of the individual world junior championships (Pardubice 1993 - XIV, Elgane 1994 - 16th place), Tampere 1995 - reserve, Mšeno 1997 - IX place). Participant of the IMS Grand Prix cycle (1999 - XXIV place). World Championship Finalist (Vojens 1998 - 6th place). Twice finalist of the European Cup Club - in the colors of the club Zlatá Přilba Pardubice (Piła 2000 - 4th place, Pardubice 2002 - 2nd place). Winner of the III place in the tournament for "Zlata Přibba" (Pardubice 2001). He started in the Czech league, in the colors of the Peterborough clubs (1995-1997, 1999, 2001), Somerset (2002, 2003), King's Lynn (2002), Newcastle (2004) and Mildenhall (2007) in the colors of Unia Tarnow's clubs (1998, 2000-2001), Kolejarz Rawicz (1999) and Speedway Miskolc (2006-2007). Myrmex Indikos, pol. Indian ant - an alleged species of gigantic ants (according to Herodot's description, larger than foxes, but smaller than dogs). The earliest mention of these creatures is dated to the fifth century BC, and its author is Herodotus. According to her, these ants inhabited the deserts of Persia and India and extracted gold from their sands. Several such creatures were kept in the residence of the King of Persia.
