Marián Jirout


Marián Jirout (born July 27, 1976 in Pardubice) is a Czech dredger.

Gold medalist of the Czech individual youth championship (1994). Two-time bronze medalist of individual Czech championships (2000, 2001). Double silver medalist of the Czech team championship (2005, 2007). Gold medalist of the UK Championship team (1999).

Four-time finalist of the individual world junior championships (Pardubice 1993 - XIV, Elgane 1994 - 16th place), Tampere 1995 - reserve, Mšeno 1997 - IX place). Participant of the IMS Grand Prix cycle (1999 - XXIV place). World Championship Finalist (Vojens 1998 - 6th place). Twice finalist of the European Cup Club - in the colors of the club Zlatá Přilba Pardubice (Piła 2000 - 4th place, Pardubice 2002 - 2nd place). Winner of the III place in the tournament for "Zlata Přibba" (Pardubice 2001). He started in the Czech league, in the colors of the Peterborough clubs (1995-1997, 1999, 2001), Somerset (2002, 2003), King's Lynn (2002), Newcastle (2004) and Mildenhall (2007) in the colors of Unia Tarnow's clubs (1998, 2000-2001), Kolejarz Rawicz (1999) and Speedway Miskolc (2006-2007).
