John from Wales
John of Wales, Johannes Galensis OFM (born in the 13th century in Wales, died in 1285 in Paris) - Welsh Franciscan, theologian and philosopher. Curriculum vitae John of Wales was born between 1210 and 1230. After joining the Franciscans he studied at the University of Oxford. In 1260 he earned his doctorate. He also studied canon law. He taught at Oxford in 1270. He then moved to Paris, where he was lecturer to his death in 1285. In his works he quoted many ancient writers. Artworks
