Frank Arnau
Frank Arnau (born March 9, 1894 in Vienna as Heinrich Karl (Harry Charles) Schmitt, died February 11, 1976 in Munich) - German writer and publicist.
In 1933-1955 he was in exile, including from 1939 in Brazil, 1967-1970 he was the president of the German League of Human Rights. He wrote dramas and novels, mainly criminal ones - including Die Maske mit Silberstein (1944) and Nur Tote Zeugen schweigen (1959), as well as factual prose - Brasilia (1960), The Art of Counterfeiters, Counterfeiters of Art (1964, published in 1966).
