Facility (letter)
Facility - a letter issued by the Union of People's Activists "Zydel" politically subordinated to the "Szańca" Group, bimonthly, was issued from July 7, 1940 to (probably) January 1, 1944.
The subtitle of the letter was as follows: Weekly for the Polish Village. In August 1940 it was changed to: Organ of Polish Village. The editor was Stefan Nowicki. His circulation was several thousand copies (between 3,000 and 8-10 thousand). The purpose of the letter was to promote the political views of the "Szańca" Group among the rural population. According to the reports of the Government Delegation to the country, the information section of the magazine was judged to be more elaborate than in the "Skazcu". On February 6, 1943, the letter ceased to exist as a result of liquidation by the Gestapo of a conspiratorial printing house at ul. Long in Warsaw, but after a few months its release was resumed.
