Cassius (Bishop of Narni)
Cassius, Bishop of Narni (died July 1, 558 in Rome) - Bishop of Narnia, Umbria (536-558), Holy Catholic Church.
The source of information about Cassius is primarily the Dialogues and Homilies written by St. Gregory the Great. In his works the Pope praised Cassius' devotion, devotion to the holy apostles, and his charity and generosity toward the poor.
In the liturgical calendar he placed it on 29 June. On this day St. Cassius is also listed in the Roman Martyrology, though the remains of the epitaph of the dies natalis are preserved on July 1. Bibliography
