Barbara Sim A-gi

Barbara Sim A-gi (born 1783 in Gwangju, died in April 1801 in Seoul) is a Korean martyr and blessed Catholic Church. Curriculum vitae taught her brother Sim Nak-hun catechism. She was arrested during anti-Catholic persecutions and tortured to renounce her faith. She died as a result of beatings at the beginning of April 1801. The earliest mention of these creatures is dated to the fifth century BC, and its author is Herodotus. According to her, these ants inhabited the deserts of Persia and India and extracted gold from their sands. Several such creatures were kept in the residence of the King of Persia.
