Endocomal Homaloxestis


Homaloxestis endocoma - a species of butterfly belonging to the Lecithoceridae family and the subfamily Lecithocerinae.

This species was described in 1910 by Edward Meyrick, who designated him a typical species of the genus Homaloxestis. The Nilgiri mountains in India are typical places.

Butterfly with head and torso dark brown with light yellow and yellow face and antennae, and yellow-and-yellow petals. The front wings are elongated and the rear extended, their arched edge slightly arched, the coronal view, and the dull top. Wings coloring brown-yellow-ochrowo yellow.
